Traditional real estate investment in Nigeria often requires large upfront capital, making it inaccessible to average investors. In addition, property management lacked transparency, leaving investors with limited visibility into their returns. The goal was to build Landest, a digital platform that enables fractional real estate investment while providing transparent property management and ROI tracking for investors.
My Approach
Defined the product vision and roadmap with leadership, focusing on lowering entry barriers for real estate investment.
Conducted 30+ user interviews with potential investors and property managers to understand pain points around accessibility, trust, and transparency.
Converted insights into PRDs, user stories, and acceptance criteria that guided development.
Collaborated with engineering teams to:
Integrate secure payment APIs for seamless investments.
Build investor dashboards displaying ROI, property status, and portfolio performance.
Design role-based access for property managers and investors.
Partnered with design to create intuitive UI flows for both first-time and seasoned investors.
Facilitated sprint planning, daily standups, and reviews, ensuring features were delivered on schedule.
